Read this before you order

We want every customer to have a fair, clear experience with Alien Prints. These sections explain how we work together— timelines, money, shipping, artwork, and what happens if something goes wrong. Open any topic below when you're ready.

When you place an order with Alien Prints, you agree to these terms. They cover every order and service we provide from our shop at 1731 W Armitage Ct, Addison, IL 60101. If you don't agree, please don't place an order.

We print and decorate custom apparel. Our services include screen printing, embroidery, Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, and branded promotional products. Everything is made in-house at our Addison, IL facility with professional-grade equipment.

We decorate the garments — we don't manufacture them. Blanks (shirts, hoodies, hats, etc.) are sourced through our distributor network so you get consistent, quality brands.

Every order starts with a digital proof. You must approve it before we begin production. Once production starts, we can't cancel or change your order. If you cancel before production and we already bought the garments, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.

Lock in your quantities, sizes, and colors when you approve the proof. Changes after that point can delay your order and add extra charges.

Before we print anything, you'll receive a production proof showing your design, print locations, sizes, and ink colors. This is the document that goes to our press operators. Your written approval is required before we start production. A reply of "approved" via email or text message is all we need.

Preview mockups and production proofs are not the same thing. A preview mockup is an early look at your design concept — it does not require approval and is not what we send to print. The production proof is the final, detailed document you sign off on.

It is your responsibility to review the proof carefully for spelling, grammar, colors, sizing, and placement before approving. Once you approve and we print your order exactly as shown on the proof, Alien Prints is not liable for errors you approved.

Due to differences between screens and ink on fabric, colors on the proof may look slightly different from the final printed product. If you need an exact color, request a Pantone color match before approval (additional fee may apply).

Standard turnaround is 10 business days after you approve your proof and pay in full. This time frame is not guaranteed. Add-on services like inside tag relabeling or fold-and-poly-bag packaging may take extra time.

If you have a hard deadline, tell us when you place your order. We need to approve that date — just requesting it doesn't lock it in.

Spots are limited and depend on shop and garment availability. We must approve all rush requests. Rush fees cover production time only— if your order ships, we can't control how long the carrier takes to deliver it.

After you approve your quote, we need full payment before we start your order. We accept cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Zelle, CashApp). Need a different payment method? Just ask.

Most orders within the continental U.S. ship free via UPS Ground. Standard delivery takes 1–5 business days after production wraps up. Faster shipping is available for an extra cost. Shipping time is on top of production time — keep that in mind for deadlines.

We can't control delays from carriers or weather. If your order arrives damaged, report it within 48 hours with photos so we can help. Want to use your own shipping account? Let us know when you place the order.

Our work is 100% guaranteed — against the approved proof. If we printed something differently from what you approved — wrong color, wrong placement, a print defect, missing items — we fix it. We will reprint, issue a credit, or provide a refund at our discretion, at no cost to you.

However, if your order was printed exactly as shown on your approved proof, it is not considered defective. Errors you approved — such as misspellings, wrong sizing, or design issues that were visible on the proof — are the customer's responsibility. In that case, we cannot offer a reprint, credit, or refund. This is why we ask you to review your proof carefully before signing off (see section 4).

Screen printing on fabric will never be a pixel-perfect copy of what you see on a screen. Small color shifts (up to 10% from the digital proof) are normal across the industry and don't count as defects.

To help us help you, please check your order within 72 hours of receiving it and email us at Info@alienprints.us right away if anything looks off. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in full for a reprint. Partial returns receive store credit.

You're responsible for making sure you own (or have permission to use) any artwork, logos, or designs you send us. We can't be held liable for copyright or trademark issues with your files. We may turn down orders that look like they violate IP laws.

Artwork our team creates stays our property. Proofs, films, and screens belong to us and may be discarded without notice. We keep your files on record for reorders.

If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is a refund of what you paid for that order. We're not responsible for lost profits or other indirect losses. These terms follow Illinois law, and any disputes go through the courts in DuPage County, IL.

By providing your phone number on any form on our website, checking the SMS consent box, and submitting that form, you consent to receive SMS and RCS messages from Alien Prints related to your order, mockups, invoices, production updates, shipping notifications, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
