Submit print-ready files and get the best possible results. Here's everything you need to know.
Accepted File Formats
AI / EPS
Vector — preferred for all methods
PDF
Vector PDF preferred; raster PDF accepted at 300+ DPI
PNG
300 DPI minimum, transparent background preferred
JPG
300 DPI minimum, high-resolution only
Specs by Decoration Method
Each printing method has different artwork requirements. Here's what to know for each.
Screen Printing
- Vector artwork required (AI, EPS, or PDF)
- Maximum 8 spot colors per design
- Colors must be separated — no gradients or blends
- Minimum line width: 1pt (0.35mm)
- Minimum text size: 8pt
- Halftones available for photo-style effects (55–65 LPI)
Embroidery
- Vector artwork strongly preferred
- Standard digitizing: up to 10,000 stitches
- Minimum line width: 1.5mm (thinner lines may not stitch cleanly)
- Minimum text height: 6mm (approximately 0.25″)
- Avoid fine detail, thin serifs, and intricate gradients
- Left-chest logos: recommended max 4″ × 4″
Full-Color DTF
- Any file format accepted (vector or raster)
- Full color — no color limits
- 300 DPI minimum for raster artwork
- Supports gradients, photos, and complex artwork
- White under-base generated automatically
Tips for Best Results
- 1Always send the highest-resolution version of your artwork.
- 2Convert all text to outlines/curves before submitting vector files.
- 3Include a flat-color version of your logo if possible — it simplifies screen separation.
- 4If your design uses specific Pantone colors, include them in the file or order notes.
