Important to Know
If our customers aren’t happy, then we’re not happy! To make sure our customers always have a positive Alien Prints experience, we’ve designed a generous, fair and transparent store policy. Read the following sections to find out more about how we provide the best customer experience for our loyal clients. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Standard turnaround time is 10 business days from the approval of artwork proof and the receipt of payment. Turnaround time is based on customer needs and current production schedule. This turnaround time is not guaranteed. Finishing services such as inside tag relabeling or fold and poly bagging can add to this turnaround time.
Please make us aware of any specific in-hand due date you may have when placing your order.
Requested deadlines do not make them effective. If a specific due date is required, it must be approved by Alien Prints at the time of order placement.
Why is this? Our production schedule can and often fluctuates based on current production needs. Alien Prints operates on a first come, first serve basis. As with any manufacturing, the sooner an order is put in queue the faster it will see production. While we do everything within our ability to maintain a shorter than average turnaround time, each order can present unforeseen challenges which can cause delay. This window of time for turnaround offers a more realistic time frame for completion of an order.

*Rush orders are accepted based on shop and garment availability.
Rush order spaces are limited. Rush orders are not always possible and must be approved by Alien Prints. Rush charges apply to production time only. If an order is being shipped, Alien Prints is not responsible for delays on the part of the shipping carrier. The amount of time it takes a carrier to deliver the order is not guaranteed by Alien Prints. We have absolutely no control over delays caused by UPS or other carriers that may be used.
We also offer Same Day Printing (ship in 24 hours) on selected styles, when ordered through our same day portal ---> Same Day Printing. Cut off time is 2PM and is only available to order Monday to Friday in business days.
Why is this? Our production schedule stays at 90%+ capacity year round. This means that Rush Orders often require overtime for our production team. Rush fees are charged to cover our expense of overtime pay to our great team in production to complete your order on time. A rush fee is not a “pay to jump the line” fee.
Once you approve your quote we will require all invoices to be paid in full before we begin the order process.
Accepted payment types are cash, check, and credit or debit card. All major credit cards are accepted. If your organization requires different methods please contact us.
Why is this? Simply put, we are not a bank. We are not able to front the funds required to produce every order and then wait to be paid/reimbursed for our services. All orders are produced to exact specs approved by you, the customer. All of our work is guaranteed and in the rare event that there is an issue with the order we will absolutely make it right to your satisfaction.
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) refers to the minimum number of items that must be ordered per design.
Screen Printing up to 4 colors: 25 pieces
Screen Printing up to 5-8 colors: 50 pieces
Embroidery: 12 Pieces
DTG: 25 Pieces
As the quantity ordered increases, the pricing decreases significantly.
The minimum order quantities also extend to the print size. For instance, customers cannot add just one toddler shirt to an order of adult shirts because the print size needs to be changed, which requires its own minimum order.
Why is this? We have implemented this policy because our operational setup is primarily geared towards larger production. Processing smaller orders involves more time and labor-intensive tasks at our facility. Due to the additional labor and time required for setting up the presses for shorter print runs, smaller orders incur higher costs.
For each order Alien Prints will submit a proof for customer approval. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that all of the information on the proof is correct. This includes checking for any spelling, grammar, or design errors. If an error is found after your order has been approved and printed, Alien Prints will not be held liable for the cost associated with reprinting the order. We assume no liability for errors in designs approved by the customer.
We require all approvals to be signed off in person or digitally via email.
Why is this? This ensures that your order will be produced exactly as expected and intended. No surprises when you open the box! This protects us both and makes sure that we are all on the same page before a single shirt has been printed.
Artwork must be submitted following the Artwork Guidelines, if that is not possible, our team will be happy to help you with artwork creation or recreation.
Artwork creation/recreation is charged at an hourly rate of $40.00/hr. with a one hour minimum. Two free revisions included. This hourly rate also applies to any changes made to artwork that is not submitted within the required guidelines. Artwork review is always free. If a simple fix is needed, it is done free of charge.
Vector redraws are $40.00 per file. Copies of the file are available upon request.
All provided artwork files are kept on file for reorder purposes only. Created and recreated artwork and artwork files remain the property of Alien Prints. Proofs, films and screens remain the property of Alien Prints and may be discarded without notice.
Why is this? Artwork creation and correction take time. Our talented team is happy to assist you with your order and are compensated at the industry standard rate.
Orders can not be canceled after proof approval and payment.
Why is this? Our production schedule moves very quickly. At times an order may be produced in only a few days. This means that garments and materials may have already been purchased to produce the order. Cancellation of an order after this point would lead to expenses to Alien Prints. This policy is in place to prevent those expenses.
All claims must be made within 72 hours from receipt of order. Please email info@alienprints.us immediately if there are errors or problems with any order. Exchanges/reprints are only offered on unworn, unwashed orders returned in their entirety. Partial returns will be satisfied by credit. We do not offer refunds.
Why is this? We have no idea what or who happens to an order after it leaves our facility. We assume all orders are checked for accuracy when they are received. We feel that 72 hours is adequate time to make us aware of any issues with an order. All orders are produced to exact specs approved/provided by you, the client. Don't worry, all of our work is 100% guaranteed and in the rare event that there is an issue with the order we will absolutely make it right to your satisfaction.
We proudly offer FREE setup and screens.
Setup charges can really add up, because they are usually based on the total number of colors in your print, and the total amount of print locations.
The ‘Setup Charge’ usually covers the costs of preparing your design for print, creating the screen for production, ordering the garments, and setting up the press for your print
Why is this? We utilize a reclaim process that allows us to clean, reclaim, and reuse screens for multiple orders. Our reclaim process is very efficient and by increasing efficiency we strive for lowering the cost of it and bring this savings to our customers.
All colors in a design will be matched to the closest in-house stock ink color. For exact color matches, please request Pantone matched colors. Pantone color matches are available for an additional fee.
Alien Prints will print in our standard Print Locations & Print Sizes.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide details in regard to print placement and size if they are looking for specific placement location and size. The best way to gauge your print size is to lay a shirt (in the sizes you wish to have printed) flat and use a ruler to measure out the print area. Please keep in mind the scale of the print will vary on different sized garments and all items of an order will be printed with the same set of screens, unless a resize is ordered.
There is a human element involved in screen printing. As much as we try to automate there is still going to put someone constructing t-shirts by hand and loading them on the press by hand. Due to this, we cannot be held liable for printing placements less than a 1/2” in variance. We do use a laser alignment system to guide our printers into where the image should be, however, shifts in the image up to a 1/2″ are going to occur. We do our best to load the shirts for optimal placement in accordance to the proof.
Due to the wide variety of brands, styles, colors, and sizes, Alien Prints does not stock blank garments. From time to time the manufacture may be out of stock on ordered items. Alien Prints will not be held liable for delays due to manufacture out of stocks or discontinued items. In these cases the customer will be notified immediately and provided with other options.
Due to unpredictable and unpreventable circumstances in the production process, mistakes sometimes happens. All orders are subject to a 3% spoilage or 3 pieces whichever is greater on 100% Cotton and 50/50 apparel, and 5% or 5 pieces whichever is greater on 100% Polyester and Tri-blend apparel. While it is rare that misprints will occur, it is common practice in the printing industry to maintain this policy.
In some cases extra garments will be included in an order and given to you for Free. These are extras we supply in an attempt to keep spoilage percentages as low as possible. However, this can also mean a shortage of up to 3%-5% on your order. Upon completion of your product, all the garments are counted, and if the order is short at all we credit back your account as soon as we send out the order. PLEASE NOTE: If you have an event or exact quantities are needed you will need to either account for this spoilage or let us know in advance that the order needs to be exact. This could add to production time.
All orders within the Under Run Allowance of the ordered quantity will be considered acceptable for delivery. For this reason, we highly recommend you order extra garments for each size. Alien Prints will not be responsible for profit loss on under runs. If requested, in the event of an under run greater than our Under/Over Run Allowance, we will reprint the remaining quantity.
In the event a reprint is required within this allowance, reprints will be subject to a press reset fee of $10.00 per print color/screen.
We love the work that we do, and we love showing off all of our awesome customers. We think this is an excellent way for us to help each other; we get to use customer’s art to show off our printing abilities, and our customers get free advertisement to all of our followers. Alien Prints reserves the right to post any work that we do on our various online platforms including social media, our website, blog, or any other online medium. We do, however, understand that some situations require a little discretion such as a time-released clothing line, or other date sensitive work. If this is the case, the customer will need to provide Alien Prints with a timeline for the release, up to 6 months out, so that we can avoid any spoilers.
Orders requiring shipping will be shipped using UPS Ground unless otherwise arranged by the client. Shipping time is additional to turnaround time. Please consider this when placing time sensitive orders. Clients wishing to use their shipping account must make note during order placement.
Due to prohibitive costs, single printed samples are NOT offered. Alien Prints utilizes a thorough digital proofing process on all orders.
Why is this? The pre-press time and labor involved in screen printing makes it cost prohibitive to produce just one or two shirts. Our work speaks for itself and printed samples of previous work can be viewed at our facility. We also have an extensive photo gallery online. Blank apparel samples can be purchased however they can not be returned or applied to an order.
Alien Prints reserves the right to substitute garments of comparable brand and/or color when client’s request is unavailable.

Alien Prints no longer accepts customer supplied apparel or outside supplied apparel under any circumstances for retail printing orders. We will still receive outside garments from pre-approved contract printing clients.

Why is this? Due to ongoing issues with quality control, we have made the decision to eliminate the variable of garments being sourced outside of our reputable distributor network.
